Below is a list of crane licenses that we currently offer. Course dates for mobile cranes (Slew & Non-slew) are listed on our Course Dates page. For information or bookings on other cranes please contact our office by email or phone.

 Non Slew Mobile Crane (CN)

Pre-requisites:  DG
Candidates must have access to a workplace with the equipment/machinery and tools required, and have a Licensed Operator to supervise all workplace training
Duration: 4 days of theoretical and practical training
Training Plan  Training plans will be issued to each student prior to the commencement of the course.  In most instances the training plans are similar and contain the following: The first 3 days consists of theory and practical training. The 4th and final day will consist of the following: 

  • Written Assessment
  • Practical Training
Log Book  At the successful completion of the written assessment, the candidate will be deemed to have demonstrated adequate knowledge, meeting the knowledge requirements of the course.  At which time the candidate will receive a Logbook/Training plan. Workplace training must be recorded within the Log book.  This will be done within the Candidate’s workplace.  The hours required to be logged in the log book will depend on each individual candidate, and how long it takes them to gain an adequate level of skills and knowledge. Once adequate hours are logged and the Candidate’s Supervisor/Employer feels the Candidate has demonstrated consistent application of skills, the Candidate may then undertake the practical exam at Lifting Skills.
Completion  At the successful completion of the practical and written assessment and assignment, the candidate will be deemed competent in this unit of competency and receive a Statement of Attainment and Assessment Summary.

 

Slewing Mobile Crane (C2)

Duration 4 days of theoretical and practical training

  • Written Assessment

The first 3 days consists of theory and practical training. 

The 4th and final day will consist of the following: 

  • Written Assessment
  • Practical Training

  • Practical Training
  • Written Assessment
