GENERAL TERMS

APPLICANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS MINIMUM AGE TO BE ASSESSED IN THESE OCCUPATIONS.

We have available all the equipment and cranes required to deliver appropriate training and assessment at our Lifting Skill’s training site.   For those courses not listed in our course calendar, training and assessment must be conducted at the employers worksite with access to appropriate equipment/machinery and facilities.

All candidates deemed competent will be issued with the application/summary stating competency in a particular code. The Candidate is responsible for applying for his/her licence.  The application must be taken to the Post Office and the Candidate must demonstrate 100 points of identification.  Once the Candidate has provided adequate identification, the application will then be sent to Workplace Health & Safety with a fee of approximately $72.50.  Once the application has been submitted, the Candidate should receive the licence by mail.

All candidates deemed not yet competent will be issued with an application/summary, detailing the area of study in which the candidate is not yet competent in.  The candidate will be required to re-sit either the full or partial assessment after 21 days have elapsed.
